Setelah diresmikan oleh Presiden Joko Widodo pada 8 Maret 2019, jalan tol lintas Sumatera di Provinsi Lampung ruas Bakauheni - Terbanggi Besar bisa dinikmati oleh para pengguna jalan secara gratis selama 1 bulan. Ruas jalan tol sepanjang 140,7 kilometer ini terbentang mulai dari Pelabuhan Bakauheni di Kabupaten Lampung Selatan sampai ke Terbanggi Besar yang terletak di Kabupaten Lampung Tengah.

Pada tanggal 2 April 2019 yang lalu beredar Surat Keputusan Menteri PUPR, M. Basuki Hadimuljono tentang besaran tarif tol di ruas tersebut, yang artinya akan mulai diberlakukan tarif atau pembayaran apabila pengguna ingin melintasi jalan tol tersebut. Oh iya, untuk saat ini memang masih gratis karena termasuk dalam masa sosialisasi, dan kemungkinan akan diberlakukan mulai 2 minggu ke depan atau sekitar pertengahan bulan April 2019 (update: akan diberlakukan per 17 Mei 2019).

Berikut Keputusan Menteri Pekerjaan Umum Dan Perumahan Rakyat (PUPR) nomor 305/KPTS/M/2019 tentang Penetapan Golongan Jenis Kendaraan Bermotor Dan Besaran Tarif Tol Jalan Tol Bakauheni - Terbanggi Besar.

IV  Truk dengan 4 gandar
